The recording of the “Use Your Network to Find a Job” webinar for Connect Your Community staff. Recorded March 30, 2012. This webinar teaches how to strategically use both online and offline networks to find a job. Tasks are defined to help job seekers know exactly what they need to do.
The Connect Your Community (CYC) program provides broadband training, equipment and support for 26,000 low-income individuals and their households in seven separate communities – Cleveland; Akron; Appalachian Ohio; Detroit, MI; Lexington, KY; Manatee County, FL; and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, NC. CYC is funded through a two-year grant of $18.7 million from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Broadband Technology Opportunities Program.
2012 is CYC’s second and final year. Some of the staff will remain and some are looking for the next position. CYC is dedicated to helping all staff find their next new challenge!
